Who This Policy Covers

This policy explains how PetCure handles personal data and pet-care information when you use the mobile app, create an account, invite a household member, contact support, upload records, generate reports, or use subscription features.

Information PetCure Collects

Depending on how you use the app, PetCure may collect account details such as your name, email address, phone number, timezone and subscription status; pet details such as name, type, breed, weight, medications, logs, documents, reports and notes; household access details; support messages; device, app and diagnostic information; and notification tokens needed to deliver reminders.

How PetCure Uses Information

PetCure uses information to create and secure your account, show your pet records, power reminders and schedules, support household sharing, generate reports, sync subscriptions, respond to support requests, improve reliability, investigate abuse or fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

Legal Bases for Processing

Where laws such as the GDPR apply, PetCure generally processes data to provide the service you request, to pursue legitimate interests such as security and service reliability, with your consent where required such as certain notifications or device permissions, and where needed to meet legal obligations.

Photos, Documents and Reports

Pet photos, veterinary documents and generated PDF reports are stored only when you choose to upload, save, create, export, preview or share them. You control what content you add to the app and what you share with other people.

Household Sharing and Access Controls

PetCure shares pet-care records with other people only when an authorized user invites them or when you otherwise choose to share a report or record. Access is limited by the permissions attached to each household role, but you should still share only with people you trust.

Service Providers and Partners

PetCure may use service providers for cloud hosting, authentication, notifications, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, subscription processing, and secure file or report delivery. Examples may include Google, Apple, OneSignal, Sentry, Firebase and RevenueCat. These providers process data only as needed for their services and under their own contractual and legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Payments and Subscription Data

Paid subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play billing, with subscription status synchronization through RevenueCat. PetCure does not receive your full payment card number. PetCure may receive subscription state, plan, renewal, expiry and transaction-related identifiers needed to manage access.

Analytics, Diagnostics and Security

PetCure may collect limited technical and diagnostic information such as app version, device type, crash details, error events, and push-notification identifiers to keep the app working, prevent misuse, and improve performance. PetCure does not use this information to provide advertising profiles inside the app experience described here.

Data Retention

PetCure keeps account and pet-care records while your account remains active and for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, resolve disputes, enforce terms, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Local caches, downloads and generated files may remain on your device until removed by you or by the operating system.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export or object to certain uses of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. You can also manage some information directly in the app, including editing records, removing shared access, and requesting account deletion from Settings.

EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. PetCure aims to process personal data in line with principles such as transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, accuracy, security and accountability.

International Transfers

Because PetCure and its service providers may operate in more than one country, your information may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required by law, PetCure aims to use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Children

PetCure is a pet-care organization tool for adults and is not designed as a stand-alone service for children to use without parental or guardian involvement. If you believe a child provided personal data inappropriately, contact PetCure so it can be reviewed.

Policy Changes

PetCure may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves, new legal requirements apply, or features change. The current version in the app applies from its listed effective date.
